Valentines Day for me is less about being romantic (all the pressure!) and more about fun and sweet gestures. Once I showed up at my husbands work with 100 red heart balloons. So when I saw Swiss Miss (AKA Tina Roth Eisenberg ) Wear this amazing heart to the Women’s March last year. I was inspired to make one for Valentines Day. Because who doesn’t want someone dressed up as a giant heart showing up bearing flowers? It’s really easy and quick to make, so hopefully it inspires you to surprise someone you love.

Materials Needed: Cardboard, projector, pencil, gaffers tape, x-ACTO knife, paintbrush, white gesso, red spray paint, hot glue gun, webbing
Step 1: Project your heart image onto the cardboard and trace the image. Repeat for the second piece of cardboard.
Step 2: Using an x-acto knife cut out both of the hearts.
Step 3: Apply a base layer of white gesso to both hearts. Apply another layer if necessary. This will help your color pop!
Step 4: Spray paint your hearts with red spray paint.
Step 5: Hot glue canvas straps to both hearts, leaving enough room for a person to wear. You’re done!
