We’re starting to share pictures of our new project Color Factory. It is 12,000 square feet of color experiences in downtown San Francisco. Tickets are on sale now and it opens August 1. I got the idea for this last January and slowly started putting things together. I asked artist Leah Rosenberg and designer Erin Jang to join the team as creative lead and art director and then I started looking for a location. San Francisco real estate is no joke and it took months to find the right place for our needs. I spent hours and hours down at the city getting permits as well as putting a team in place for build out. My Oh Happy Day team has basically been doing two jobs and we’ve been working weekends and evenings for months now making sure everything was perfect. It has been one of the best experiences of my life working with this team and it has also been really really challenging.

We tapped some of our favorite artists and collaborators to work on the exhibits: Jacob Dahlgren, Tom Stayte, Geronimo Balloons, Tosha Stimage, Stanton Jones, Andrew Neyer & Andy J. Miller, Carissa Potter, Jessica Hische, Rebecca Wright, Randi Brookman Harris, Leah Rosenberg and Erin Jang. Such a crazy talented group.
